Colours... Bug or Not?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

just unsure whether it is bug, feature or me..

1. Trying to RESET both Fore/Back-ground colours to Black & White with 1 key (like PS)  how.?

2. The lower small circle with a red strip across is for what?

I find that the HELP system is great - BUT you could do with a screen shot of PHOTO Desktop with all the Key areas marked and NAMED, so they can be searched for - as the Back/Fore-ground colour section I cannot search for as I do not know what Serif call it..

Cheers Paul

The one with the red strip is to remove any color from the current color you are using (foreground color).

The shortcut for that is the slash key "/", which I noticed doesn't work if the brush tool is being used.

if you go to to preferences, then shortcuts, then miscellaneous, you will find this option to set black as foreground and white as background with whatever the key there, just be aware to not use some that is already used somewhere else.

And key x, not sure if that's the default, as I've changed several shortcuts, but you can also configure it, to swap background and foreground, like x does in Photoshop.

It's default here.
