AD 1.5.1 won't update in OS X Lion 10.7.5

Recommended Posts

Hello there, I'm using AD 1.4 on OS X Lion 10.7.5 on an iMac (late 2006) which i have bought on the AppStrore. It is working just fine.

In the AppStore an update to 1.5.1 is suggested, but when I hit the update button I keep getting the message "There are updates for other accounts available".

Now, I certainly only have one account on the AppStore, it is activated via iTunes for the computer I am sitting at and after a logoff and new logon I keep getting this message.

Anyone any suggestions?

Just to make sure we are clear about this, the Mac Affinity apps are sold through the Mac App Store application ("MAS" for short), not through iTunes. (You can set up Family Sharing in the iTunes app, but otherwise iTunes isn't involved in MAS purchases.)

In the MAS app, try signing out (on the Store menu) & then signing back in, making sure you use the same Apple ID & password you used when you first purchased AD.

Please do NOT upgrade to 1.5.2 as you will lose personalization.

We are working on a 1.5.3 today and a work around too that will appear in that thread.

Now you tell me!  :o

A bit late for me, although I assume I could revert the support files & the app from my Time Machine backup & try again when 1.5.3 is available.
