SrPx
I believe this is a problem. If one rotates the lighting in the sphere/ball, you don't get lighting in the opposite side. Instead, you get the shadow you were expecting in the opposite lighting. That is, as you rotate the light, you are only getting lighting when the light point is in the upper areas of the sphere. And only shadow when you move in the lower areas. You could do a 2 pass effect, but then is longer process and looses some advantages of having "all in one" effect. PS works allowing having light and shadow, also allowing to change color and intensity of light and shadow, in this 3d effect, and surely people expects all that. Perhaps also make more colorful/evident the lock icon between depth and radius, as I myself though for some minutes I had depth disabled for some issue with my graphic driver or that it was a bug. :) The bevel behavior is similar. I would agree with the OP that surely the PS style is more convenient . :) Cheers, AD, AP and APub V2.5.x. Windows 10 and Windows 11.

paolo.limoncelli
(maybe share same code/library, etc...Not strange..) Not maybe, they share the same code at the point that you can create a Live Effect in AP, paste it in AD and keep on tweaking it without issues :) SrPx 1 The white dog, making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers
