IanSG
The default location for opening files is the last one used by AP - e.g. Open file in folder A and export to folder B. B is now the default location for opening. There should be separate defaults for each and, ideally, separate ones for each export file type. arkinien
I agree with IanSG. The export person is a great idea and potentially a huge time saver. However, exporting to the last default folder is highly impractical and defeats the whole idea. As we worked on multiple projects, we have to keep navigating between project folder every times we need to make a change on a project and re-export it. Some project also need to be exported in different locations. I.e. a PDF for printing should not be save at the same location as the images for the website of that same project. As projects get more complexe and artboart multiplies in a file, exporting can becomes very cumbersome; especially when you go back to the project a few months down the road. The ideal functionality would be an assigned relative path for each slice. This way we could just open a project file, make our change and hit export without having to remember which slice goes where... If the path was relative, you could also copy a project to a different location without having to resign a new one to each slice. Or am i missing something obvious here?
