Fist of the mighty Bob
If I understand correctly, Affinity Photo is supposed to run Photoshop plugins. So I want to mention that Filterforge 5 does not run.

Herbert123
If I understand correctly, Affinity Photo is supposed to run Photoshop plugins. So I want to mention that Filterforge 5 does not run. Try this: in the Filter Forge.config file change "false" <IndependentUI value="false"/> to true. That allowed it to run as a Photoshop plugin in other applications for me. I haven't tried it in Photo myself, though. It might work.
Fist of the mighty Bob
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it didn't help to edit the Filter Forge.config. I still get the error message show in the picture.
