Just installed Windows beta of Photo.

Opened raw file and made adjustments. I can't for the life of me figure out how to save those raw adjustments. I click the Develop tab and the raw file is converted and dropped into the editor. I can save that file.

BUT if I reopen the raw file I'm back at square 1 with the raw files sans any of the previous adjustments. What am I missing?

After developing the RAW file it can then be saved to an afphoto file. We don't currently support side-by-side files for RAW files yet.

I discovered that. But that afphoto file is an RGB image file right? It won't get me back to the raw file to do additional editing, right? And if I go back to the raw file all the adjustments I made have to be done over as they weren't saved.

You do plan to add that absolutely essential feature that at the most basic level would make your software usable, right?

The MAC version that's been for sale for the past year saves raw adjustments, right?

You can develop to a 16bit or even a 32bit float Affinity file. 16bit is usually more than enough as long as you have spent a few seconds developing the file. Once you have set White point and exposure to within the few stops then redeveloping is mostly pointless.
