Something strange about the setting panels

Recommended Posts

Let's assume I'm in the Develop Persona and I want to change Exposure, Black Point and Brightness. I click on the Exposure panel title bar. The checkbox is checked and the panel opens. OK. I make some changes and then I want to hide the sliders. So I click again on the Exposure panel title bar. But this automatically clears the checkbox and my settings are disabled. What if I want to collapse the panel but keep my settings active ?

Also, it would be nice to have a "solo mode" for these panels, like in Lightroom : when opening a given panel, all other panels are closed. Of course if closing panels also disables the corresponding settings, things will be complicated.

This is a deal breaker for me.  If I continually have to scroll up and down to find the panel I want to work with it'll take me four or five times longer to process a raw file - and I'm not prepared to waste that time.
