I need to be able to select and move parts of one into the other. I do not see the 'separate' option in the Window drop down option. tentative Posted November 11, 2016 Author Share Posted November 11, 2016 Ok, I am using PS CS2 and when I open an image I get a separate window then when I open another image it goes into another window Thus I have the two images displayed at once and can cut and paste etc. between without all this tabbing and dragging. It's the standard way, that can be flanked, when needed, buy a tabbed mode. As for me, I can't imagine working on several documents (for example, an original and some copies I'm editing, or the source and the target text I'm translating) in tabbed mode.
