BUG: AD 1.29 break curve on symbol crash

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I was editing a symbol and, after I pressed A on the keyboard, I've got this:

AD_crash.jpg

I guess it doesn't say too much in order to figure out what happened.

Anyway, I'll keep testing and I'll check if this happens again.

Yep,

And there it happened again.

I was modifying a symbol. I selected a path, added two points to the path and clicked on the break curve and then it happened.

Same message as above.

Alright,

I've been able to re-create the issue.

1. Create a line

2. Convert it to symbol

3. Add points and break the curve

4. AD crashes

Below a screenshot of a regular path after break curve has been applied succesfully, and the crash happening right after the break curve is applied to the symbol:

P.S. It would be handy if the subject of the thread could be edited as well.

Thanks for the 'recipe'. The crash is easily reproducible here.

No Crash Reference dialog was displayed when I restarted the application, but I found a crash dump file in my %AppData%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports folder.

If you edit your original post and press the 'Use Full Editor' button below the message composition area, you can edit the the thread title (and the thread tags, too, if desired).
