arechsteiner
I've encountered a bug: When modifying a global color, the opacity handle has no effect and is not being saved. I can set the opacity when creating the global color, but I cannot modify it afterwards. See screenshot for details. Enjoying Affinity Designer on Windows 10. Staff Chris B Posted November 7, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 7, 2016 Hey arechsteiner, I don't think the Opacity slider should be on there. It isn't present on the Mac so I'll pass this over to the dev team. Thanks :) How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
arechsteiner
I see. So opacity support is not planned for global colors? Because that would be a cool feature. I mean, I was trying to use it just now. Enjoying Affinity Designer on Windows 10. Check out my Bootstrap themes
Staff Chris B Posted November 7, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 7, 2016 I couldn't say. The bug report has been assigned to one of the developers. It will either be removed or he might move it to Mac if he thinks we should have that kind of support. I'll report back once it has been updated. Guest
Guest
Sorry, I forgot translation :( I make the same observation as you with Windows. The opacity setting is possible via the "swatches" tab.As says Chris B, the cursor of the color wheel should perhaps not exist as the setting is possible by the "swatches" tab. arechsteiner
The opacity slider is working just fine here. Hope you don't remove it. This is about the opacity slider in global colors. The one you show is just the normal opacity slider for a regular fill color, which works fine of course. The bug lies with the global colors and trying to modify the opacity of one of those.
