Auto hide Studio panels to icons

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to collapse the side palettes to icons and have them reappear when selected/hovered over?

Similar to Adobe:

I can expand the width, but the minimum I can shrink them to is ~265 px .

Highly recommended open source screen capture software (useful for bug reports).

Hi Mattb5906,

There isn't a way to make the studio only show when you are hovering over it I'm afraid. However I feel as though that would make a great addition to the app I suggest making a post about it in our Feature Requests section. You can press the Tab (⇥) key to hide the studio and un hide it this may be a useful workaround for you :)

Another potentially useful workaround is to double-click on a panel name in a Studio tab. I only recently realized this collapses everything in the same tab row to just their names. Clicking on a name expands the panel, revealing that tab's contents again.
