Liamd88
Found a pretty good tutorial to create a realistic egg so I thought I'd give it a go. It helped me to understand lighting and shadows a bit more also :) Ken Cope, sorin.jurcut, MattP and 1 other

(The former contents of the shell looks quite surreal!) Thanks, I'm unsure whether the shadows under the shell need to be replaced or reshaped though?
Sunset
TBH, I had not noticed the shadows under the eggshell until you mentioned them (which usually means that they are good). The dark shadows look fine to me, I don't see them which means they are what my brain expects as part of the picture, the fainter outer shading is what I notice so perhaps that could be omitted - I wouldn't be able to say unless I saw two version side by side, it's a personal thing, I think, so don't be influenced by me, I was happy with the picture as I first saw it :) Quote MacBook Pro 11,2, Intel i7 4 core, 8Gb RAM, Graphics Intel Iris Pro. iPad Pro 11.4, 256Gb, 10.5 Retina, A10X Fusion chip, Apple pencil Desktop upgraded to Win10 64-bit, Intel i5 quad core, 8Gb RAM, NVIDIA GefORCE GT730 The Win-10 laptop is on permanent loan to my daughter......
