Staff Sean P Posted November 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2016 There are a lot of Red Xs in your Slices tab to me which is indicating that Slice cannot be exported. Could you attach your document please so we can take a look?
Staff Sean P Posted November 4, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2016 Thank you very much for the document adirusf. This issue has been caused by a fix that went into 1.5.0.29 that relates to using 'illegal' characters in a filename. Essentially you were able to use characters in a filename that Windows wouldn't allow for (one of those being '/'). This has now been fixed and it will warn you (if you hover over the Red X it will say the filename is badly formed). The Path component has been tweaked to not allow any trailing '/' characters. Now if you try to add one it will strip it when you click done, unfortunately as you had created this file prior to this change it is getting slightly confused by this character. I will get it reported to development, however if you select the Path name box for each slice and click done it will strip the '/' character from 'jocuri/' and allow you to export it to the correct path. adirusf
Sean, I put that slash because I saw a tutorial, but now after I removed it everything is exported right. I have a powerful computer (I7-3370, 20GB, 120SSD) but I feel a delay of 2-3 seconds after click a slice till the selection of that slice, hope the video show what i mean. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ld051cmuslts8y0/Untitled.mp4?dl=
Staff Patrick Connor Posted November 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 5, 2016 Agreed, we (QA) think slash should be allowed at the end (as it is for Mac), just in build 29 it's being flagged as wrong, so Sean was suggesting a work around adirusf 1 Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program!
