hallgee
I have images with rounded corners which i would like to export. However, I cannot seem to export without the underlying square corners of the canvas appearing. Probably an easy answer, have not found it. I enclose a sample jpg export. Thanks! Staff MEB Posted November 3, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 3, 2016 Hi hallgee, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You have to export to a format that supports transparency as PNG for example (JPG doesn't support it). To turn the background transparent go to menu File ▸ Document Setup..., Colour section and check Transparent background. Alternatively if your objects are all inside a single layer you can also select it in the Layers panel then go to menu File ▸ Export and select Selection without background from the Area dropdown. hallgee
Thanks! I will have to play with it some more, but I am able now to export a .png in the format I want.
Fixx
Pixel images always have square corners, you have to use transparency (or similar colour as on applied use background) to hide them.
