pruus
What is the best way to open an .EPS file in AP on a way that I see no pixels. In Photoshop this rasterising is far more better. My workaround is to open the EPS in Photoshop, than save as PSD file. Then open that PSD file in AP. There must be a better way.

Staff MEB Posted November 3, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 3, 2016 Hi pruus, Go to Document ▸ Resize, change the DPI to 300 (or the width and height dimensions to larger values), make sure Resample is checked and press Resize. All objects in the document are vectors. You can enlarge them as much as you want without losing quality. pruus 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
pruus
Thanks. This does it. Perhaps i ask to much, but why isn't this default? Because i'm used Photoshop.
Staff MEB Posted November 3, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 3, 2016 Photoshop renders it the same way. The only difference is that it presents you a dialog to choose the dimensions/dpi of the file before importing it, unless you are embedding the file in the Photoshop document. How are you opening/importing the EPS in Photoshop? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
