signum Posted November 1, 2016 Share Posted November 1, 2016 I need help for instalation of Affinity Designer Beta for Win. I have win 7 64bit operating system. When I run setup, it asks me to choose language, and I choose English and click OK and than I get the message: "Setup cannot continue because a previous installation requires your computer to be restarted. Please restart your computer and rerun Setup." When I restart computer and rerun setup I get the same message. Anyone can help with installation? Staff Patrick Connor Posted November 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted November 1, 2016 signum, Welcome to the Affinity forums. :) Sometimes other applications get in quickly on restart and try installing updates and it takes a few restarts to clear the queue (proper shutdown and restart not snooze or hibernate). Please try shutting down and restarting a few times and if that doesn't work I will get the installation expert to advise tomorrow.
