How to export edited photo back to photos app

Recommended Posts

In my experience, I see two ways…

1–  if you want the imported file to reflect the edits,

just save  them (command + s )and

close the file (command +w )

2– if you want to save a file in another format then the

imported one, just…

File > Export… and chose the appropriate option!

Hi res0722,

A feature that's currently only in the 1.5 beta of Photo is a new Photos extension that allows you to select an image to Edit in Affinity Photo direct from Photos. Any adjustments you do in our app will then update the file that shows in Photos.

The update for Photo will be coming soon.
