vishal Posted October 29, 2016 Share Posted October 29, 2016 HI I am a little confused with the text size (points vs pixels). Why does my 20 point text have a height of 122.9pixels? Where as in sketch, text of size 20 has a height of 24 - which is understandable. but I am not sure why it is so large in AD ? VIPStephan Posted October 29, 2016 Share Posted October 29, 2016 The dimensions shown are most likely for the bounding box of the text frame – do you happen to have line breaks or more text in the frame (or a custom frame size altogether)? vishal Posted October 29, 2016 Author Share Posted October 29, 2016 HI There are no line breaks, attaching snapshots I also found Document Setup where I can change the document units to 'points' and I then get the height around 20pt Question now is what Document units do you set for UI design? points or pixels ?
