Orchard Collie
Hi from Darwin I may have posted this before but I can find it being a forum newbie Mac OSX and latest Affinity Designer. I have created a 5 line text box in 5 point ariel and the lines are too far apart visually and this is with leading set at the smallest amount =0 pt Is there any way I can get the lines closer together? Thanks in advance Orchard Collie
MikeW
There are two places leading occurs. One in the paragraph panel, but it can be overridden in the character panel. Mike
Corsicaman
Press CMD+T and you should find all the text options you need there. :)
Orchard Collie
Thanks Guys Cmd-T doesn't seem to work on Mac and I have set the leading value to 0 in both Character and Paragraph palettes so I am still wondering what else I have missed Regards
Fixx
If you set leading to 0 all lines should compact to one row, all on a top of each other. Not very readable. Can you adjust leading at all? Or is it just that you cannot input small enough value (or rather, there is something that adds to leading value)? If lines are separate paragraphs have checked space after/before input field values in paragraph palette?
Dave Harris
Are you sure this is due to leading and not paragraph space before/after? Those are in the second section of the Paragraph panel.
Orchard Collie
Thanks Fixx and Dave It was the Space After Paragraph setting that was causing the problem All Good Now Thanks again and cheers from Darwin
