[Fixed] Affinity Crashing when I try to open afphoto files

Recommended Posts

The software is crashing when I try to open an .afphoto file. After putting in many hours of work and then having it crash every time I try to open it is very frustrating. Is there any way to fix this?

I am running macOS Sierra v. 10.12.1 on an iMac

Having had this problem multiple times, I decided to save this one in two different places and neither file will open.

This is a serious problem ... basically making the software useless. Please tell me how to fix it.

Fitz

P.S. I have attached the file I am trying to open as well as the crash report.

IF HULL_TRANSOM.afphoto

Is there more information available about this bug? I have experienced the same thing this evening and I emailed support. Can I rescue the files that have been saved? Affinity crashes as soon as it tries to open them. I need to get my work back, as I've already showed JPG samples to the client.
