eldestroyer
I'm using version 1.5.0.26 RC of Affinity Designer, following the tutorial found at: On minute 2:10 you can see what I'm trying to do, you can place to vector objects over each other and try apply the boolean add operator while pressing the "alt" key. This keeps the two vector objects, however instead of joining them or adding them it subtracts them.
Staff MEB Posted October 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 25, 2016 Hi eldestroyer, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) This is due to a bug/issue with smart nodes (used on the bigger shape). To work around it, select all the nodes of the bigger shape with the Node Tool then go to the content toolbar and press the Smooth button from the Convert section to convert the nodes to smooth nodes. You can then perform the boolean operation as intended. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
