vighmate
Dear forum members, I have problems with snapping two nodes together. Let us say for example that I created two objects of arbitrary shape and I would like to snap a node of one object to a node of the other object without changing the shape of the objects. It seems to me that somehow I cannot 'grab' the objects by their nodes. Thanks, Máté
Staff MEB Posted October 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 22, 2016 Hi vighmate, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select both objects, change to the Node Tool, then on the context toolbar make sure you have the second and third icons from the Snap section enabled. Drag a marquee around all the nodes of the object you want to move, then click and drag one of them over the nodes of the other shape. All nodes of the object you are dragging will snap to the nodes of the other shape. vighmate 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference | Call for Camera Images
vighmate
Dear MEB, Thanks for your reply, it works of course. I am coming from the CorelDraw community so I still need some time to get used to your wonderful product. Regards, Máté
