chill59
In Affinity photo. If I select an item with say the flood select tool. Then alter said item (say lighten it). I then 'deselect' the item but it doesn't seem to completely deselect it. How do I then fully deselect the change and move on to the next task? It seems to stay invisibly selected somehow and I can't carry out further tasks. In photoshop you just alter things, deselect, and then move on to the next task. Thanks in anticipation. Staff Lee D Posted October 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 21, 2016 Hi chill59, Welcome to the forums. Once you have made an adjustment, click Select > Deselect (⌘+D) this will deselect the area selected by the Flood Tool. Hope this helps. chill59
Thanks Lee. That's what I've been doing but it doesn't seem to fully deselect what I've worked on. I can't carry on and do further actions.
Madame
I'm wondering if you also have deselected the layer you are working on?
