Search, find or filter layer name

Recommended Posts

I often need to work with documents that have an unhealthy amount of layers.

A fast way to search a certain layer by it's name would really help.

Now I need to review the complete layer list over and over again, sometimes missing the layer, starting over etc...

This is actually the only feature I miss from Photoshop.

I know there is a feature where you can click objects and have the layer selected, but that does not help me because most layers I need to find are not visible.

I miss this too. It's very helpful for big documents with lots of named layers.

+1 from me! Clearly this would save people lots of time. It's crazy that a powerful suite like this makes users manually try and find a layer, when this request has been around for 7 years.

A simple search box at the top of the layer list would be a good start.

This constant scrolling through layers is impacting my workflow so much, I might have to switch back to Adobe 🙈, they have had this for years:
