OldHickory30
So is there an easy way to to drop a watermark on to an image, then resize it. In PS I could take my custom watermark, which is in a PDF format, drop it on the image, resize it and that was it. Thinking it should be rather simple in AF as well, or hoping at least. Also I'm using 1.5 Beta v6.
Staff Leigh Posted October 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2016 You can drag the logo from Finder directly into your document in Affinity Photo or use File > Place. You can then use the Move Tool to resize the image. Hope this helps!

PixelDude Raoul
I want to do the same ... but I cannot find 'Finder'. What do you mean?I developed png logos in different colors. I want to use them for my pictures but don’ find the required tools to do so. I'm a Microsoft PC user. Up to now I tackle it in 2 different ways, but none of them are efficient. 1. I export the picture as jpeg from AP to a file. I open the picture in Lightroom and put the logo (function is available). 2. I go in AP to the file with logos. Open the one I prefer. Click copy. Go to the picture in AP on which I want to put the logo. Click paste, resize and drag to the location I want to drop the logo. I hope there is a shorter way to do so. PixelDude Raoul
I can do the same in PC, drag and drop ... but in LR there is a specific tool for it. Maybe that AP can develop it? Staff Leigh Posted July 28, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 28, 2017 There's no specific tool but you could create a brush to do the same thing. Check out this thread for more information: PixelDude Raoul
PixelDude Raoul
Thanks, similar approach as in LR which offers also the possibility of creating your own watermark brushes.
