jackamus
Why is it when I save an image, which has been cropped, it is saved in its original size and not its cropped size? I saved it as a selection without background. DonaldDymn 1 Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. Staff Lee D Posted October 17, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 17, 2016 Is there a particular reason behind selecting Selection without Background and not Whole Document which does give you the same sized image as the crop.
jackamus
I only want the image and not the page background. I usually just select the image and export it into another format to be saved. jackamus
AD. Could the same thing also apply to AP? I haven't tried it with AP yet. Staff MEB Posted October 17, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 17, 2016 You have cropped an object in AD using the Crop Tool and are exporting it as a Selection without background? It should work. You should get only the selected object. To which format are you trying to export to? Can you please attach the file here? Maybe i'm missing something. jackamus
Sorry MEB. I've lost track of what the original problem was! I was doing a lot of cropping and exporting to get round a particular problem. The problem has now been solved. However there is one problem that I haven't had an answer to and that is why I cannot slightly rotate an image (to square it up) and not be able to crop squarely. I tried to use the 'Reset selection box' but this didn't help. This part of trying to register two similar images with each other. Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed!
