I would suggest though an option to enable grid-snapping for artboards, independent of object snapping. I guess most people don't require fine-tuned adjustments of their artboard layout. Currently, it seems I need to enable snapping, only to arrange them, e.g. horizontally or vertically align my artboards. The fact that they snap even to objects in other artboards complicates this further.
