HI jlicea,

Welcome to the forums.

Can you provide a link to your files so I can take a look at them to see if they just need to be switched to another option or if it's something we need to look into.

Your files will be deleted once we have tested them.

Regards

L

Thank you for looking into it, just to recap, when opening the files individually, they're fine. It's only when attempting to open them as a new stack. Also, when trying to go into the Develop Persona while attempting to do this stack, it tells me to select an RGB pixel layer before entering Develop and I'm not sure what that's referring to.

I too have seen this "purple effect" myself when the data gets very close to zero (e.g. very very dark skies).

I forget how I got around it. And no, I don't have a file to reproduce it either.

That makes sense, I'm new to processing raw files so just trying to learn things. Thank you for the info.

Thanks for the files,

It's the way the information from the RAW files is being handled when creating a stack, even switching the RAW engine doesn't make a difference. A way around this is to open them individually and export them as .TIFFs. Use these files to create a stack and it will be created correctly.

Ok sounds good, thank you.
