Chris Catalano
I sent a letter to the Affinity Design Team by reply, so hopefully this gets resolved soon. because of the incompatibility issues between Designer and Photo I have, at the very least, lost a lot of work. Files that would not "edit in" one or the other which have been modified in Designer are now incompatible or corrupted in Photo. I have had all sorts of weird issues with text layers inverting improperly, and am wondering when this is going to be sorted out. I simply do not have time to start the entire projects from scratch, and the loss of this work would be borderline disastrous. Does anyone respond to these inquiries from Affinity. It is great software, to be sure, but this is really bad. Last version of El Capitan. I should not have updated Designer, and going back means I can no longer open these files that have been slightly modified in 1.5.1.

Dave Harris
Just to be explicit about what the link says: you haven't lost any work. You can open your files either using the beta of Photo which is available now, or using a release Photo which will be available in the Mac App Store in a few days.
