PeterBreis
I need to work across Mac and PC and am really looking forward to a full suite of Affinity products that I can use across multiple platforms. Has Serif worked out a licencing for people like me who need to move files from one platform to the other and still work on them? Staff MEB Posted October 9, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 9, 2016 Hi PeterBreis, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Affinity apps for Windows are not available commercially yet but each platform will require its own license. We already set the base price very low and the time/resources required to develop for/deal with each platform specifics warrants a separate purchase for each one. Mark Ingram
Also, with the Mac App Store, there is no way to tell Apple that you have made a purchase of the Windows version, in order to download it for free, so there are technical restrictions too. PeterBreis
Fair enough and thanks for the honest straightforward answer. :) DatJuanDesigner
