Crashed when click on Artistic text tool

Hello

 

Just bought affinity designer and trying to learn how it works but every time when click on artistic text tool or uses shortcut T affinity designer crashes.

I cant write any text. The whole report of crash is in attachment.

 

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

We are aware of a few bug/issues with the latest Designer release (1.5) and are working to fix them. There's a Beta available here in the forums which should fix some of those issues.

If you are willing to give it a try you can download it from here (v1.5.2 Beta 2). Just remember to keep the Mac App Store version installed since its needed to validate/run the Beta.

 

As soon as there's a new update for the Mac App Store available and it works correctly (no more crashes), you can then drag the Affinity Designer Trial.app to the trash from you Applications folder.
