Although you can’t create global symbols as such, you can add symbols to the Assets panel. This allows you to share them between documents. Managing them can/will be a nightmare if your work is iterative between the documents. You should also be careful: The symbols feature of the current Affinity Designer (1.10.4) has some known issues on macOS Monterey. Using the symbols feature may cause the application to become unusable -- specifically, the application can become extremely latent and unresponsive when using complex or extensive symbols. The issues were reported and confirmed (in ~late Oct.), but haven't been addressed to this point. Hopefully they will be resolved in the near future; as well as some of the lingering and outstanding enhancement requests. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
