robert_muench
How can I inspect the properties of a Pixel? Color, Alpha-Channel, etc?
Staff Leigh Posted October 13, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 13, 2016 You can enable the Info Panel by going to View > Studio > Info. This Panel will allow you to see the color values of a pixel but it's not currently possible to show the opacity value of a pixel. I've had a look through the Feature Request section and it doesn't seem like anyone has asked for it to be added to the app. Feel free to start a thread in the Feature Request section asking for opacity to be added to the Info Panel: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/6-feature-requests/
robert_muench
But this information is not real-time, I have to click on a specific pixel with some tool. I just want to hover over a pixel and have the X/Y coordinates, color etc. information displayed.
Staff Leigh Posted October 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted October 25, 2016 If you use the Cursor option instead of Target from the Info Panel you will get the X/Y positions of the data under the Cursor - this will update when moving the cursor around the image. robert_muench
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. What is a "cursor option"? And maybe I'm looking at a wrong things. Just switched to EN version as I was using DE version and tried to access "View > Studio > Info" but there is o "Info" entry in the menu. A_B_C
I assume, you are talking about Affinity Designer, right? Then no, there is no information panel … only in Photo … :(
robert_muench
Yes, Affinity Designer, sorry should have mentioned it.
