opclinid
I just installed the latest beta and i get the above crash report every time I start the program. Once I close the report and attempt to open a new document or proceed with trying to open anything from the "Featured work" window, Affinity Designer disappears. I am using Win 10 latest updates installed. I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet installed, but not attached at the moment.
Mark Ingram
Hi, I can't find your crash report in our database, is there any chance you can attach it to this thread? It should be in the following location: %APPDATA%\Affinity\Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports\ (I'm assuming you're using version 1.5.0.21?) Mark Ingram
Hi, I've taken a look at the crash report, and it's crashing in Pen_Tablet.dll which is provided by Wacom. Can you tell me the model / version of your Wacom Bamboo, and also which driver version you have installed?
Mark Ingram
Also, can you try plugging your tablet in and seeing if that fixes it?
Mark Ingram
Hi, we've managed to reproduce a similar crash here, and have fixed it for the next version (1.5.0.22). Hopefully this should solve the problem for you. Keep a look out on the forum for the next version today or tomorrow.
opclinid
Hi, Thank you so much for looking into this and having the fix added. Just to answer your question from yesterday, I did try the program with both the Bamboo plugged in and disconnected, but the result was the same. The model I have is CTH-461 and I am hoping the fix will work for this model. I will test as soon as the new version is out (and installed) and will let you know :-) Thanks!
