Can't See Cursor Crosshair in Dark Backgrounds [Windows Beta]

I am trying the Beta of Affinity Designer for Windows and I really love it! It's great for someone like me who just cannot afford Photoshop or Illustrator. However I am having one issue. It is difficult to see your cursor crosshair in dark backgrounds because the crosshair is black. Why is it black with no white outlines? I can't see the crosshair when there is a dark background behind it! It makes it hard to see what I'm doing.

 

I have looked in the preferences and I just cannot find any option to change the colors.

 

Affinity, please consider this request and please add a white outline around the crosshair, or have the crosshair use the inverted colors from the background.

If you go to Preferences > User Interface and change the Background Grey Level, does this help at all?

Yes, Cris. I have done this, but the darker background is much easier on my eyes. It would be helpful if we were to have a choice as austin30 mentioned above. Not a big problem for us but nevertheless helpful.

Which cursor are you referring to? I just looked at the crosshair cursor (when brush nozzles get too small), and it does have black and white lines.

If you select one of the Shape Tools you get a black crosshair cursor. It does have a faint grey outline, but that isn't really enough to make it easily visible against a dark background.

I referring to the normal text cursor when attempting to find the cursor in a curved line of art text, and also quite often in a frame text depending on the background of the text. It is not impossible but takes some looking.
