shigglebop
I opened AD today and everything was where it always is. I switched over to Pixel Persona to work on some art and my Persona Toolbar vanished. I have to go into the AD dropdown menu to switch back to Draw Persona but the toolbar still does not appear. It's just a grey or black blank bar. I have restarted the program, updated it and even uninstalled it to reinstall it and the same thing keeps happening. Any help would be appreciated. Staff MEB Posted September 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2016 Hi shigglebop, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Press and hold ctrl while launching the application then select Clear from the dialog that will open to reset the app to its defaults. Let me know if you still have trouble after resetting the application. shakeer 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
theartden
I had a similar issue, and this worked for me. Thanks!
nandotenlohuis
Hi there. I have managed to remove the toolbar (or how it's called) on the right side of the screen in AP. I have no clue how to get it back. I have tried to hold ctrl when launchin but my mac only shows the dock pop-up menu where I can change settings about AP in the dock of os-x. I tried menu options like toolbars and customise toolbars but non seem to bring the whole toolbar back like the default when I installed AP. Please help me because I cannot work with AP without this menu.
R C-R
Hi nandotenlohuis & welcome to the forums. Before you do anything else, I suggest opening the View Menu, opening its Studio submenu, & making sure the third from the bottom item (Show Right Studio) is checked. If that doesn't work, try the last item (Reset Studio) from the same submenu. If that does not work, you can choose Clear from the window MEB mentioned if you keep holding down the Control key after the dock popup menu appears & choose the last item on that menu ("Open").
