BatteriesInc
When I move an object with a mouse and hit the boundaries of my viewport, AD starts scrolling the canvas underneath so that I can reach any part of my canvas without having to zoom out. It does not do this with objects moved by keyboard arrows - is there a setting where I can change this? Quote Regards, Binc Warning: dark, twisted sense of humour. Do not feed after midnight. Staff Lee D Posted September 26, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 26, 2016 Hi BatteriesInc, Once you've switched to on of your Viewpoints, are you moving the object simply holding down the mouse button?
BatteriesInc
Nope, in same cases there are reasons why I use the cursor keys instead, but they don't initiate any canvas scrolling. Zoom in, click an object (say, a circle) and move it with the cursor keys - when you hit the edge of the viewport/screen, your object will happily carry on moving beyond the edges (so you won't see it, but it's still moving as long as you use the cursor keys) without the canvas scrolling to keep up with it. Try the same with a mouse and things will start to scroll when you reach the edge. Quote Regards, Binc Warning: dark, twisted sense of humour. Do not feed after midnight. Wheat and BS intolerant.
