Affinity Photo from extensions of the Photos application (mac)

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I would like to access Affinity Photo, I mean at any Affinity Photo from extensions of the Photos application and not just a few functions.
To be more specific I would like to import and store my photos in the Photos app to Apple and via extensions, to retouch them with all the functions of Affinity Photos and export (save) in Photos. Thus I proceeded with another application, Tonality Pro Macphun not quote, and it was very convenient. Photos can manage and catalog my photo library (and sync with iCloud).
This would be used as an extension Affinity Photo photos (all of Affinity Photo) or as a standalone application for those who prefer.
Thank you.

Hi thierrymezenge,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

I assume you have installed the Beta. If so go to Mac OS X Preferences, Extensions then select Photos on the list on the letf. You should have a new set of extensions for Affinity Photo Beta (see screenshot below).

Make sure they are all enabled (note the different icon for the Beta extensions). You should then be able to access them inside Apple Photos (I only have the Beta extensions enabled in the screenshot below).
