Operating procedure of 'alt key and Mouse'

Following the tutorial on cloning, I noticed a change in the 'Brush Size' without going to the Command line to vary the size. The size of the brush seems to be changed by some other process. Can this be explained?

The Paint Brush Tool in the Pixel Persona in Affinity Designer responds to the Photoshop standard '[' and ']' keyboard shortcuts for decreasing or increasing the brush size. I presume it's the same in Affinity Photo.

Diggs, see the reply to your other topic about the dodge & burn tools -- the same thing applies to most brush tools.
