R C-R Posted September 23, 2016 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Affinity Designer requires a 64 bit CPU. If the MacBook has a Core Duo processor it is 32 bit. A Core 2 Duo is 64 bit. See Apple's list of CPU types here.
