Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2016 Hi X901, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You can use the Node Tool to cut/break a path/shape. If you have a shape, you must convert it to curves first clicking on Convert to Curves button in the context toolbar or pressing ⌘ (cmd) + ↵ (Enter). Then with the Node Tool still selected add a node to where you want to break the shape/path, select it (clicking on it) then go to the context toolbar and click Break Curve from the Action section (it's the first icon). Do the same to another node of the shape to break it in two separate curves. Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2016 Hi X901, To edit objects contained in an embedded document you must double-click the embedded document on canvas to open it in a new document tab, then edit the objects there. Your original document will be updated accordingly.
