In the Tutorial for DrawPlus 6 under "Drawings and Shapes > Off Canvas<" one has to select a star and adjust Points, Minor Radius and Inner Radius. Affinity only has the ability to adjust the Points and Inner Radius.

Is there some other way to create the star shape in that lesson? Please see attached.

You can use the Cog shape to achieve something similar to this.  See the examples in the Tutorials section on this forum.

See: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/142-shape-examples-getting-the-most-out-of-our-dynamic-shape-tools/

Affinity isn't going to try to replicate the shapes from DrawPlus.  We decided to completely rethink shapes, and make them more practical.
