Weird Rotation behaviour & Morroring of objects swapped

Recommended Posts

Hi jxsl13,

and welcome here …  :)

Well, the German terms are actually correct. When you apply Mirror horizontally (“Horizontal spiegeln”) to a given object, you will use a vertical symmetry axis to transform your object. And vice versa. Does that answer your concerns?

However, your other finding looks very strange. I couldn’t reproduce it. It seems particularly strange that the center of transformation on the Transformation Panel jumps from one corner of the square diagram to the diagonally opposed corner as you turn the rotation handle.

I am sure the developers will have a look …  :)

Cheers, Alex

Looking at your explanation, it's logical, I thought it is more logical to look at where the actual "mirror" axis is. Don't know, what others think, I just found it strange. Not being a graphic designer at all, I am not really used to these terms, so pardon me if I'm wrong.
