jgowrie
Hello, Ronnie McBride created a really nice rope brush for me and I am wondering if it's possible to apply a fill to the brush shape, not the path which the brush follows? The image I am working on now is attached and what I am trying to do is fill the rope shape with a fill. I've tried a few things but it seems the brush pattern isn't recognized as a shape to fill? The only way I found I could add a fill is to rasterize the path with the rope brush applied.. is that the answer?
Staff Lee D Posted September 16, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 16, 2016 Hi jgowrie, I've downloaded and installed the same brush you have used, one way is to have two duplicate brush shapes. One is created using the brush with the stroke (002), the other with the fill (001) set the stroke and fill as required and then align the two together, you can then group them. Another way would be just using the one with the Stroke, switch to the Pixel Persona and use the Flood Fill Tool on each segment of the rope brush, bit of a slow process. Hope this helps L
