Schubi63
Hi, when I use the transformation panel to type in exact values it happens regularly that I overlook that the anchor point is set to a false position which I realize just after hitting return. On my display the brighter color is more obvious than the bigger (grey) area. So in my opinion it would be more obvious and better to: 1. not to have only a bigger area for the current anchor point (status quo) but also in the brighter color as it is now (and I do not know why, but always for the top left position) 2. don't tint the top left corner in white - it's only confusing and competing with the actual setting My two cents, Stefan. Staff MEB Posted September 12, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 12, 2016 Hi Stefan, If you rotate the object on canvas, the rotation will also be reflected in the Transform panel so you need to have the white square as a reference for the top-left corner of the object. The bigger square represents the selected anchor point. Maybe changing the selected anchor point (the biggest) to white in all cases is enough to make the difference more obvious? Give it a try. :) Quote Affinity Designer | Affinity Photo | Affinity Publisher macOS Sierra 10.13.6; MacBookPro (13 inch, Early 2015); 3.1 GHz i7 CPU; 16 GB RAM
Alfred
I see your point and like your suggestion. I like Miguel's suggestion, too. The reference point for the top-left corner of the object shouldn't be more prominent than the selected anchor point.
