Logo design

Just bought and sure it will be great....

 

First thing I want to do is design company logo.

 

I want 4 letters typed in caps locking as tough going into the distance slightly with a '45 degree shadow of the same behind.

 

Can't see any way to achieve it though.

 

Similar effect  to the link below though letters, colours, text all different.

Would be really grateful for any help or advise.

You haven't said whether "it" is Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo, but as you want to design a logo I presume you've bought Affinity Designer.

Affinity Photo has a Live Perspective Tool, but a similar feature for mesh warping and perspective distortion hasn't yet been added to Affinity Designer. You would therefore have to do it manually, which may be quite fiddly.

Seems that I chose the wrong Affinity then.

Affinity Designer seems to be such a well featured package with such good feedback I am really surprised that there is no 'Live Perspective Tool' for mesh warping and perspective distortion. I would have thought that this would be extremely popular and useful.

Don't suppose that you have any influence with Affinity ?

A mesh warp/distort tool is on the Affinity Designer feature roadmap, which means that it will be added in a free 1.x update, but I've no idea when. (I'm a long-standing user of Serif's Windows-only software, but I don't have any more influence over Serif/Affinity than you do!)
