abg0201
Hi, Apologies if i'm being thick, but is there a way to power duplicate along a previously drawn path? Say I've an irregular shape and wish to have the pattern repeated along it? Thanks in advance. Andy.
Staff MEB Posted September 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted September 1, 2016 Hi Andy, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No you can't use Power Duplicate along a path. There's some workarounds but they aren't much practical or are limited in some way.: you can create a brush with the pattern (raster) and apply it to a path or create a font and apply it as text to a path (text along a path) if you want to keep the patten as a vector. We already have a Blend/replicate tool in Affinity Designer's roadmap which I believe will be able to do want you want - blend an object along a path - (I don't know much details about it at this point) but there's still not ETA for it.
