Develop 'freezes' every time

Recommended Posts

After altering lighting effects in persona, on an image, every time I click 'develop' the blue line just locks at the end of applying and the program freezes. I have to use force quit. Single layer image. jpg The image is 32MB but that isn't big is it.

Just to add...I've found the only way to do it is to export the .afphoto file as a 'jpg' then apply the effects to that image. That's the only way it will 'develop' without locking up.

Hi Paulbg,

Would it be possible for you to provide the file you are working with so I can try and recreate this issue at my end? Any files you send will be deleted once they have been looked at. If you would rather not post it here please feel free to send me a private message :)

Thanks

C

I have exactly the same problem.-with a JPG file. It freezes every time when I click develop, regardless how big the file is. Also when I try to import RAW file from Photos-it opens the develop persona, but it does not display any image. The images that I use are from Nikon D5300 - the device is IPad pro 12.9" , iOS 11.0.2
