bgarrant
I have been playing with the beta of Affinity Designer Windows and it is amazing. My question is should I use that to make mockups for websites or if Affinity Photo a better choice? I rarely design logos or anything like that. I know Photo is coming out soon for Windows as well. Any opinions? bgarrant
Staff MEB Posted August 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 25, 2016 Hi bgarrant, Affinity Photo is a RAW converter/developer and photo editing app. Although you can use it for mockups/website design, Designer is a better choice for mockups/web/ui and graphic design. VIPStephan
What he said. Also, just for the record: Photoshop is also not a web desinging tool and just misused by many designers to create website mockups despite not being its primary purpose. I would even go as far as claiming that whoever uses PS to design websites can’t call themselves a professional web designer. But let’s not focus on Adobe anymore. Affinity Designer is the new choice for web design.
