Guest Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 I have a Designer document designed completely in Designer, with text and a shape, with a logo graphic (also done in designer) that is embedded. In Designer, all elements display razor sharp at any magnification, but as an exported svg, the embedded logo looks blurry and fuzzy, while the text and shape are razor sharp. Why? How to fix? Staff MEB Posted August 24, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 24, 2016 Hi ScottinPollock, Which version of Designer are you using? Version 1.4.2 rasterises embedded documents. You can try Affinity Designer 1.5 Beta 10 which should export embedded documents as vectors. Another solution would be to double-click the embedded document on canvas to open it in a new document tab, copy its contents to the original document (deleting or hiding the embedded document there) and exporting. Note that you must keep the Mac App Store version installed to run the Beta and that documents created or saved with the Beta (1.5) are not compatible with previous versions, so you can open them in the Mac App Store version (1.4.2).
